Hello again everyone! You all seemed to be pleased with my Arnold Schwarzenegger post, and I even gained a new follower, so from this I can only surmise that people who like Cornwall also have a fondness for the Terminator.
But anyway, onto business. As we speak, I am busy researching your favourite Cornish things and slaving over the wording of my posts (read: laying around in my onesie, more hungover than I thought humanly possible). All kidding aside, I’m looking forward to starting to properly posting again, and I hope you guys are too! For now, I give you reblogs, and the promise that all the information you ever needed about your favourite English country is coming soon.
And to conclude: I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle.
Well, I was going to begin this post in what I thought was a very dramatic and eye-catching way by quoting “I’ll be back!”, a la Arnold Schwarzenegger. Only when typing it out did I actually realise it made absolutely no sense, so I’ve decided I’m going to keep it simple for my own sake, and just let you all know the news in words of one syllable: I am back.
Yes, you’re reading it right! After an unforgivably long hiatus, I have returned to your dashboards once again to brighten your day with lovely Cornish titbits (no giggling, please). No, unfortunately there will be no tits, Cornish or otherwise - however, what you will be seeing is bits and pieces of your favourite county, served with a side order of my (obviously) carefully crafted and meticulous research.
On a more serious note, I have been once again pleasantly surprised at your loyalty and perseverance, as, after all this time, I somehow only managed to lose two followers! I’m immensely grateful to you all for sticking around, and I promise you that your constancy (aka forgetting to click the unfollow button, but a girl can dream) shall be rewarded.
I feel it is only appropriate to end this post with some Arnie. So, thank you all once again, and remember: GET TO THE CHOPPER!
(P.S. Extra brownie points for those who understand this: dyw genes, hag nos dha!)
So tempted to try the South West Coast Path this summer..
Who wants to join me?
phantomry said: hello! if you still want suggestions/requests I'd be interested in seeing Mevagissey! and the lost gardens of Heligan! both places I want to visit. I enjoyed seeing the Camel Trail, for it is RELEVANT TO MY INTERESTS/family holidays. Keep up the good work!!
Hi thereee! Yes I’m most definitely still taking requests. Mevagissey and the Gardens sound absolutely perfect, I actually have information about Heligan lurking somewhere in my drafts ready to see the light of day. You’re very welcome, and thank you very much!
